Palm wants to give you $1m in prizes!

The lovely folks at Palm are giving away prizes to reward the developers of the hottest apps for webOS.

The Palm PDK Hot Apps Program will offer up $1 million in cash or HP Products for applications developed using the Palm webOS Plug-in Development Kit (PDK). It rewards developers of the most-installed free apps and the highest-revenue paid applications.

To qualify for an award, your app must be available to webOS users via Palm distribution programs by 30 September 2010. In addition, the following criteria apply:

•The application must be developed using the Palm webOS Plug-in Development Kit (PDK).
•Apps available for Pre and Pixi that are identical except for package ID will be counted as one app.
•Apps developed by Palm employees or their direct relations are ineligible for awards.
